Janet Jackson was spotted in L.A. last week for the first time since news broke she’s expecting her first child!

The singer was on an ice-cream run with husband Wissam Al Mana.

While Janet, 50, has yet to officially announce the pregnancy, her brother Jermaine confirmed the baby news to “Extra” in May.

Jermaine said, “Janet’s my baby… She’s pregnant,” adding, “She’s like a baby to me, a baby having a baby, but at the same time, she’s my little sister. I’m an uncle again, which I’m very proud of. I wish them both the best. If they need any baby skills, I’m the best at it ’cause they all say I have the most kids.”

When asked how she was feeling, Jermaine shared, “She’s doing great.”

Janet postponed the European leg of her Unbreakable tour in April, revealing in a video that she and her husband were planning their family, but never specifically said she was with child.

Janet Jackson’s longtime producer Jimmy Jam is putting his bid in early for a very important position in her first child’s life: Godfather. HipHollywood caught up with the hit-making producer, and found out that Jackson hasn’t discussed it with him yet, but he certainly wants the job.

“I don’t know yet, I’m going to put in my application,” said Jimmy while on the carpet for the HollyRod Foundation’s 18th Annual DesignCare Gala. “I’m definitely Uncle Juices. She calls me Juices, so I’m Uncle Juices, no matter what.”

Good thing for Jimmy, who, along with Terry Lewis, produced several of Jackson’s platinum albums, and Janet is actually Godmother to his oldest son. “So, maybe a little exchange or something,” he joked. “We will see.”

Jimmy also updated us on how Jackson is handling her first pregnancy. “She’s wonderful. I talked to her yesterday. She’s doing absolutely wonderful, and is happy.”

Back in May, Jackson announced that she would have to postpone the second leg of her “Unbreakable Tour” because she was pregnant with her first child. Her brother Tito Jackson recently cleared rumors that she was using a surrogate, telling Anderson Cooper, “She’s taking it easy … protecting her health.”

After what’s been going on lately with the police shootings Janet shared the following video. Be sure to #blacklivesmatter

Janet Jackson is pregnant with her first child, just weeks before her 50th birthday, Entertainment Tonight reported Wednesday. The news comes a month after Jackson announced she would postpone her tour to “focus on her family” with husband Wissam Al Mana.

Jackson’s initial postponement in early April–in which she said she was under doctor’s orders to rest–led fans to worry that she was dealing with something scarier, such as cancer. Clearly, this news is much better to hear. There’s been no official word yet from the Jackson camp on the pregnancy, but that shouldn’t stop us from picking out baby names should it?

Janet Jackson will executive produce the story of 1920’s New York City mobster, Queenie – the first and only woman gangster during the prohibition, set against the backdrop of The Cotton Club. Born Stephanie St. Clair (1886–1969), Queenie (photo above) was a mob boss who ran numerous criminal enterprises in Harlem, NYC in the early part of the 20th century. She even bumped heads with the then Italian mafia, and managed to stay entirely independent. In Bill Duke’s gangland crime drama “Hoodlum” (1997) she was played by Cicely Tyson, as some of you might recall. Kenny Leon is attached to direct the film.

Live Nation says that tickets will be honored or refunds offered for Janet Jackson’s postponed concert dates.

Janet Jackson recently announced that she’s postponing dates on her Unbreakable Tour, but fans hopefully won’t have to wait too long to see her live.

Just a couple days after the singer cited plans to start a family with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, as the reason for the tour postponement, Live Nation released a statement (via Us Weekly): “The Janet Jackson Unbreakable Tour in North America will be postponed until 2017. New dates will be announced at a later time, and tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. Stay tuned to JanetJackson.com and LiveNation.com for further info.”

Jackson posted a link to the news article on social media, confirming the report.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know,” Jackson had previously said in a video posted on Twitter. “My husband and I are planning our family. I’m gonna have to delay the tour. Please if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders.”

“I can’t wait for us to get started again,” she added.

We the staff at janet-fan.com want to say congratulations! And me (Laura) and my household will hold onto our ticket for dear life until the day we can see you lol. Rest my dear and may god bless you and your husband with a healthy babies! We love you!!

Janet Jackson on Saturday returned to the stage after a four-month hiatus for mysterious health reasons, bringing her energetic dance show to Dubai.

The pop superstar performed in the Gulf emirate as the entertainer to close the Dubai World Cup, the world’s most lucrative horse race.

She went ahead with the show following a series of cancellations which included an abrupt delay of the entire European portion of her “Unbreakable” tour.

With a troupe of choreographed dancers gliding behind her, Jackson put on a medley of hits including her classic “Control” and the more recent and funkier “All Nite (Don’t Stop).”

Jackson — whose 2004 performance at another sporting event, the Super Bowl, was marred by the exposure of her breast — left open no chance of a similar “wardrobe malfunction” in the Muslim emirate, wearing an arms-length black jumpsuit with an oversized necklace.

Jackson last year released “Unbreakable,” her first album since the death of her brother Michael Jackson in 2009, and embarked on a major tour.

But until Dubai, she had not performed since November 22 in Japan. On Christmas Eve, she announced a delay in her North American tour, saying that she needed an urgent operation.

The 49-year-old revealed no other details about her health but later issued a statement to deny speculation that she was suffering from cancer.

With her European tour off, she is not due to perform again until May 14 in Las Vegas as she resumes performances in North America.

Jackson has ties to the Gulf as she married Wissam Al Mana, a billionaire businessman from Qatar, in a private ceremony in 2012.

Her late brother moved temporarily to Bahrain at the invitation of a prince as the King of Pop tried to evade the media glare following his 2005 acquittal on child molestation charges.

Janet Jackson helped reshape the concert landscape in the late 1980s with her “Control” and “Rhythm Nation” tours, considered landmarks for their elaborate dance routines and messages of empowerment.
